📋 Description

• As a Sr IT Identity Security Engineer (CyberArk) at CNO Financial Group, you will serve as the senior expert in Identity and Access Management (IAM) and Identity Automation (IA), leading the design, implementation, and optimization of security technologies that protect critical identity infrastructure while enabling secure business operations across a financially strong organization with $35B in assets and 3.4K associates.
• Your day-to-day responsibilities include planning, designing, implementing, and maintaining identity security technologies primarily using CyberArk; participating in end-to-end security solution projects from analysis to deployment; utilizing security tools to diagnose and resolve identity system issues with 2nd and 3rd tier support; providing expert consultation to IT, business owners, and stakeholders on identity security matters; performing product lifecycle management to ensure system integrity, capacity, and availability; aligning technologies with enterprise security strategy and the IA program; ensuring compliance with security policies and best practices for all identity products; conducting research on emerging IAM technologies; and reviewing system designs for adherence to security standards and frameworks.
• You will join CNO’s IT Team, a mission-driven group grounded in core values of People Focused, Integrity, Customer Driven, and Excellence, supporting a company that serves 3.2 million policyholders through life and health insurance, annuities, and financial services across more than 260 U.S. communities, with headquarters in Carmel, Indiana, and regional offices in Birmingham, Chicago, Orlando, and Milwaukee.
• In this role, you will deepen your expertise in enterprise IAM and PAM technologies, gain leadership experience in shaping identity security strategy, develop advanced skills in Splunk or SIEM integration for access monitoring and alerting, and position yourself as a trusted advisor in highly regulated financial services environments—enhancing your impact on organizational resilience and compliance posture.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity or a related technical discipline (e.g., infrastructure, systems administration)
• Prior experience with CyberArk or similar Privileged Access Management (PAM) products
