- • The Sr. IT Security Engineer will design, implement, and maintain security tools and technologies to protect CNO Financial Group’s information assets while enabling business functionality, serving as a subject matter expert and mentor to junior team members.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include establishing annual projects aligned with business goals, creating engineering diagrams and documentation, presenting security concepts to non-technical audiences, planning and maintaining security technologies, diagnosing and resolving security tool issues, providing expert consulting to internal stakeholders, managing solution lifecycles, aligning technologies with enterprise strategy, ensuring compliance with security policies, researching emerging technologies, and reviewing system designs for adherence to security standards.

🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline or equivalent experience
- • Minimum of five years of related work experience in IT security or infrastructure
- • Strong understanding of information security technologies including endpoint management, cloud application security, and certificate management
- • Strong fundamental understanding of networking and DNS
- • Applicable security certifications such as CISSP preferred
