- • Design, build, and support AI-driven solutions using Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio, and Azure OpenAI for customer-managed platforms under SHI’s oversight.
- • Configure and manage platform infrastructures, applications, and collaboration tools to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- • Lead and contribute to Managed Service Provider (MSP) projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with customer business objectives.
- • Drive service improvement initiatives by collaborating with internal teams and external customers to enhance system efficiency and user experience.
- • Engage directly with customers through status updates, change requests, incident responses, and project meetings, tailoring solutions to their specific needs and success criteria.
- • Monitor, diagnose, and resolve performance issues across AI and cloud environments to maintain high system availability and responsiveness.
- • Optimize existing environments by developing, documenting, and maintaining standardized operating procedures (SOPs) for repeatable and scalable operations.
- • Track and document all work in SHI’s PSA system, including accurate weekly timesheet submissions and project time allocation.
- • Assist with Statement of Work (SOW) scoping and development upon request, providing technical input for client proposals.
- • Serve as an escalation point for complex technical incidents, leading resolution efforts during customer-facing engagements.
- • Mentor and train junior engineering staff and service desk personnel to build team capability and ensure knowledge transfer.
- • Participate in required audits and compliance activities to uphold operational and security standards.
- • Deliver Microsoft Copilot readiness and enablement, including identity, data, security, governance, licensing, and user adoption strategies.
- • Design and operationalize Azure OpenAI solutions using prompting, embeddings, RAG patterns, and evaluation frameworks.
- • Implement AI governance, logging, monitoring, and security controls aligned with Responsible AI principles.
- • Utilize Python and/or PowerShell for automation and scripting tasks, leveraging Git or Azure DevOps for version control.
- • Maintain a dedicated home office setup with camera-on policy during meetings and a distraction-free workspace.
- • Participate in a rotating on-call schedule to provide after-hours and holiday support for critical escalations.
- • Adhere to quarterly utilization targets as set by leadership, adjusting workload to meet business demands.
- • Travel up to 10% annually for customer meetings, events, or office collaboration as directed by management.
- • Work overtime or on holidays when business needs require, ensuring uninterrupted service delivery.
- • Align all activities with SHI’s organizational initiatives and leadership directives.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or 6–10+ years of equivalent practical experience, preferably in a managed services environment
- • Demonstrated experience leading technical delivery, mentoring engineers, and owning outcomes in customer environments
- • Proficiency in Microsoft Copilot (M365 Copilot), Copilot Studio, Azure OpenAI, and RAG architectures
- • Experience with Azure core services (identity, networking, storage, compute) supporting AI solutions
- • Strong scripting skills in Python and/or PowerShell, with proficiency in Git or Azure DevOps
- • Ability to obtain Microsoft Certified: Azure AI Engineer Associate, relevant Copilot certification, and ITIL v3+ within 6 months
