• • You will lead and mentor a team of talented Treasury Analysts based in the EMEA region, fostering a culture of high performance, data-driven decision-making, and continuous improvement. Your leadership will be key to ensuring the team consistently delivers exceptional results and supports the broader Kraken organization and its stakeholders.
• • A core responsibility will be the meticulous management of cash flow forecasting, loan management, interest earnings, and target balancing. You will be responsible for the creation, maintenance, and insightful interpretation of these financial projections, providing critical visibility into Kraken's liquidity position across its global operations.
• • You will leverage Kraken's Treasury Management System (TMS), internal payment gateways, and relationships with banking partners to execute high-value payments. This includes managing treasury rebalancing activities and other essential operational needs, ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of funds.
• • Collaboration is paramount in this role. You will work closely with internal treasury teams, as well as product, settlements, and business development departments, to execute complex crypto trades and fiat foreign exchange transactions. These activities will serve both our external customers and internal hedging strategies, requiring a deep understanding of market dynamics and risk management.
• • You will oversee and manage treasury operations tools across a diverse network of global banking partners. This includes the administration of cash pooling arrangements, legal entity cash concentration strategies, and the utilization of various payment portals to optimize our banking infrastructure.
• • A significant aspect of this role involves partnering with the broader finance and operations teams to ensure the delivery of robust and reliable global 24/7 settlement services. Your contributions will directly impact our ability to provide an extraordinary client experience, a cornerstone of Kraken's success.
• • Continuous improvement is embedded in Kraken's culture. You will champion a collaborative approach to refining existing processes, with a strong emphasis on data verification, quality assurance, and accuracy. This includes identifying bottlenecks and implementing solutions to enhance efficiency and reduce risk.
• • You will conduct in-depth analysis and deploy sophisticated liquidity management tools to optimize internal ledger and bank account balances across Kraken's extensive global legal entity structure. This strategic optimization is crucial for maintaining financial stability and operational flexibility.
• • Please note that this role requires a commitment to weekend work approximately 1-3 times per month to ensure continuous operational coverage and support for critical global treasury functions.
• • A key initiative will be the identification, planning, and implementation of automation opportunities. This includes streamlining workflows, integrating disparate systems, and developing advanced dashboard reporting to provide real-time insights and enhance operational efficiency.
• • As a leader within Treasury Operations, you will be responsible for governing adherence to established policies and procedures across the EMEA team, ensuring compliance and best practices are maintained.
