- • Drive proactive sales opportunity generation, pipeline management, and deal closure with partners to achieve partner-influenced revenue targets.
- • Align with assigned regional sales teams to develop and execute a partner growth strategy that ensures achievement of software bookings goals.
- • Create and maintain a comprehensive regional partner map detailing current partner capabilities, capacity, and identified gaps.
- • Develop a quantified regional partner business plan with clear goals, milestones, and metrics to drive partner-influenced revenue growth.
- • Identify, recruit, and onboard key local partners necessary to meet or exceed regional revenue objectives.
- • Collaborate with Cloudera’s corporate Business Development team to execute strategic partner go-to-market initiatives.
- • Facilitate the development of advanced partner solutions that enhance market reach and drive increased revenue.
- • Maintain accurate and up-to-date partner sales forecasts in SFDC with a minimum of 4x pipeline coverage.
- • Conduct regular business reviews with priority partners to align on performance, strategy, and joint objectives.
- • Lead cross-functional efforts to build consensus and secure sponsorship across technical, sales, and executive levels to advance partner deals.
- • Set priorities, manage details, and motivate both internal teams and external partner organizations to deliver on agreed-upon goals.
- • Influence and lead teams without direct authority, leveraging relationship-building and strategic alignment to drive results.
- • Demonstrate exceptional communication skills and high energy to engage partners, internal stakeholders, and customers effectively.
- • Leverage experience working in both startup and enterprise environments to adapt strategies to partner size and market dynamics.
🎯 Requirements
- • Minimum 8+ years’ experience in direct and channel sales
- • Proven channel sales or alliance experience with quantifiable results in building field execution with key partners
- • Strong understanding of the big data software business
- • Proven record of success in enterprise technology sales with demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales objectives through partners
- • Direct experience creating and executing partner business plans with global and regional partners
- • BA/BS degree required; technical competence strongly preferred
