- • As a Sr. Payments Advisor at KeyCorp, you will be a pivotal player in driving financial efficiencies for our clients by becoming their trusted advisor in cash management and payments solutions.
- • This role demands a strategic and consultative approach, partnering closely with Relationship Managers to understand the intricate needs of industry-specific companies and recommending tailored solutions that leverage KeyBank's robust product suite.
- • You will be instrumental in developing, managing, and retaining profitable client relationships, acting as the go-to subject matter expert for all things related to cash management.
- • A significant aspect of this position involves independent prospecting, where your consultative and strategic sales skills will be crucial in bringing new clients into the KeyBank fold.
- • You will be responsible for crafting and executing a comprehensive sales and marketing strategy designed to achieve ambitious goals in market penetration, cross-selling, revenue generation, and new client acquisition.
- • Building and nurturing collaborative relationships with KeyBank's Relationship Managers is paramount, enabling you to effectively acquire, expand, and retain business clients who possess critical payments and treasury management needs.

- • Your role extends to serving as the primary trusted advisor for clients with complex cash management requirements, ensuring their needs are met and their relationships with KeyBank are both profitable and enduring.
- • This involves adeptly identifying client needs, proposing effective solutions, and actively participating in all facets of client management, including in-person client calls and comprehensive relationship reviews.
- • You will meticulously manage your portfolio, seeking opportunities to deepen existing client relationships by proactively identifying and offering integrated solutions that address unmet needs.
- • Collaboration with Relationship Managers will be key to identifying new opportunities within existing client accounts and fostering strong networks with Centers of Influence (COIs) to expand our reach.
- • Maintaining fluid communication with internal partners, including Sales Analysts and Implementation teams, is essential for providing seamless service and ensuring sales visibility.
- • You will work closely with Sales Analysts to prepare compelling sales presentations, insightful relationship reviews, and detailed business process reviews, offering comprehensive recommendations aligned with client cash management objectives.
- • Leveraging your industry expertise, you will contribute to KeyBank's vertical strategy by participating in and potentially leading cash management external speaker series and seminars.
- • Accurate and timely recording of all sales activities in Salesforce is a requirement, demonstrating an urgent and responsive approach to client and partner requests.
- • You will ensure a superior onboarding experience and excellent client satisfaction by effectively collaborating with the Implementation and client management teams, holding them accountable for documentation and corporate communication during execution.
- • You are expected to be the recognized subject matter expert on all payments and treasury management needs within your designated area, representing KeyBank and generating leads at industry conferences, regional events, and business meetings.
- • The ability to speak authoritatively at payments/treasury management and industry segment events will be a significant asset.
- • This role requires a proactive approach to identifying and addressing client financial and business operations, coupled with a deep understanding of financial concepts, payment processing, commercial banking operations, and supply chain management.
- • You will demonstrate a proven ability to manage a client portfolio, define, and execute a growth strategy, and effectively utilize consultative and strategic solution selling skills to close deals.
- • Excellent organizational and communication skills, both verbal and written, are critical for success, as is the ability to manage projects, strategies, and timelines to accelerate sales activities.
