• • As a Sr. Platform Solution Engineer (PSE) at Alkami Technology, Inc., you will be instrumental in the technical configuration and backend build-out of customer environments during the critical implementation phase. Your primary responsibility will be to translate complex business requirements into scalable, robust system configurations that adhere to Alkami's best practices and ensure long-term platform stability. This role is pivotal in bringing our digital banking solutions to life for financial institutions across the United States.
• • You will operate as a key technical contributor within the implementation team, working in close partnership with an Implementation Manager (IM) and an Activation Engineer (ACTI). While the IM leads the client-facing strategy, project execution, and stakeholder alignment, and the ACTI focuses on core integration engineering and technical connectivity, your expertise will be dedicated to the intricate task of building, validating, and deploying the system configurations that form the backbone of the client's digital banking experience.
• • A core aspect of your role involves configuring and deploying backend settings for financial institutions. This requires proficiency in utilizing essential tools such as JSON for data structuring and Postman for API testing and interaction, ensuring seamless integration and functionality.
• • You will be tasked with designing sustainable solutions that artfully balance the unique requests of our customers with the established platform guidelines and the imperative for long-term system stability. This requires a strategic mindset and a deep understanding of how configuration choices impact the overall ecosystem.
• • Close collaboration with Implementation Managers is essential to ensure that business requirements are not only clearly understood but also accurately and efficiently translated into technical configurations. This partnership guarantees that the client's vision is realized through precise technical execution.
• • You will also work hand-in-hand with Activation Engineers to guarantee that all system configurations are perfectly aligned with core integration requirements and any associated constraints, ensuring a cohesive and functional end-to-end solution.
• • While the role is primarily backend-focused, there will be instances where your deep functional or technical expertise is required to provide direct client-facing support, addressing complex queries and ensuring client satisfaction.
• • A significant part of your responsibility will involve configuring and meticulously validating third-party integrations during the implementation process. This ensures that all external services function harmoniously with Alkami's platform.
• • You will play a crucial role in collaborating with our Product and Engineering teams. This involves submitting detailed enhancement requests based on implementation insights and providing well-documented bug reports to drive continuous improvement of the platform.
• • Prior to general availability (GA), you will be involved in testing and validating new product functionality. This proactive approach ensures the quality, readiness, and smooth implementation of new features for our clients.
• • Maintaining clear, comprehensive documentation of all configuration decisions, identified constraints, and customer-specific setups is paramount. This documentation serves as a vital knowledge base for future reference, troubleshooting, and team enablement.
• • You will be expected to manage multiple concurrent implementations, demonstrating a strong ability to maintain meticulous attention to detail and uphold a high standard of quality across all projects.
• • A collaborative spirit is key, as you will assist teammates in troubleshooting and resolving basic to moderate configuration issues, fostering a supportive and efficient team environment.
• • Leading review sessions with other team members to share insights and apply learnings to existing best practices is encouraged, contributing to the ongoing development and refinement of the PSE team's methodologies.
