- • As a Sr. Power Plant Ops Engineer at Stem Inc., you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliable and efficient operation of energy storage systems (ESS) that support the global clean energy transition. Your work directly impacts system uptime, performance, and customer satisfaction by identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving operational incidents in alignment with business and technical requirements.
- • Day to day, you will monitor and respond to ESS equipment alerts, prioritize and troubleshoot incidents, coordinate with field technicians and internal teams for resolution, document all actions per company procedures, develop KPIs and tools for continuous improvement, create rules for the data engine to support root cause analysis, and provide technical leadership during high-uptime operational events. You will also train and support Tier 1 teams on new systems and collaborate with Product Development to embed operational sustainability into new product introductions.
