- • As a Sr Principal Application Engineer - Emulation at Cadence Design Systems, you will serve as a technical leader and trusted advisor to customers, driving the adoption and success of Cadence’s market-leading emulation and prototyping platforms such as Palladium and Protium.
- • Day to day, you will develop customer-specific emulation and prototyping requirements, provide in-depth technical assistance in collaboration with R&D, champion customer needs to shape competitive solutions, write technical product literature, review new product proposals, and assume technical leadership roles within the team.
- • You will join a global team of innovators at Cadence, a leader in electronic design automation, where you’ll work closely with R&D, marketing, and customers to solve complex verification challenges and secure design wins in the semiconductor industry.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in hardware emulation, verification methodologies, and SoC architecture while influencing product direction, mentoring peers, and establishing yourself as a go-to expert for advanced verification flows and customer technical success.
🎯 Requirements
- • MS or PhD degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- • Strong RTL and Testbench debug skills
- • Experience in synthesizable coding style and scripting (Perl, Python, or TCL)
- • Strong software, HDL design, and verification skills with experience in SystemVerilog, VHDL, Verilog, C/C++/SystemC
- • 5+ years of industry experience
