đź“‹ Description
- • Own the end-to-end product strategy for PitchBook’s Public Equity capabilities, translating complex market needs into a multi-year roadmap that positions us as the definitive source for public-private benchmarking and exit intelligence.
- • Serve as the organization’s subject-matter expert on public equity data, valuation methodologies, and peer-analysis workflows used by private equity, venture capital, and investment-banking dealmakers.
- • Partner daily with engineering, data science, design, and research teams to define, prioritize, and ship features such as interactive dashboards, automated comparables, valuation trend charts, and proprietary research signals that surface actionable insights in seconds—not hours.
- • Conduct continuous discovery with clients and prospects—via interviews, surveys, ride-alongs, and data-driven experimentation—to validate pain points, quantify value, and refine requirements that keep our roadmap laser-focused on revenue impact.
- • Translate ambiguous market signals into crisp user stories, acceptance criteria, and measurable KPIs; own the full product lifecycle from ideation through launch, adoption, and iterative optimization.
- • Champion data quality and governance, working with data operations to ensure that fundamentals, consensus estimates, and alternative datasets meet the exacting standards our clients expect when making multi-million-dollar decisions.
- • Build and maintain competitive intelligence on public-market data vendors, fintech upstarts, and emerging analytics tools; synthesize findings into positioning narratives and differentiation strategies for sales, marketing, and executive leadership.
- • Evangelize new capabilities internally and externally—run enablement sessions for sales and client success, present at industry webinars, and author thought-leadership pieces that reinforce PitchBook’s authority at the intersection of public and private markets.
- • Mentor associate and mid-level product managers, fostering a culture of curiosity, experimentation, and customer-centric decision-making across the broader Product organization.
- • Collaborate with Morningstar’s global product teams to leverage shared technology, data assets, and distribution channels, ensuring PitchBook’s public equity solutions scale efficiently across geographies and client segments.
- • Monitor usage telemetry, NPS, renewal rates, and expansion revenue to quantify product-market fit; iterate rapidly through A/B tests, beta programs, and phased rollouts that minimize risk while maximizing client delight.
- • Influence pricing and packaging decisions by quantifying willingness-to-pay, running conjoint studies, and aligning monetization models with differentiated value propositions.
- • Drive cross-functional go-to-market planning—coordinate launch timelines, craft positioning, and arm sales with battle cards, ROI calculators, and demo scripts that accelerate pipeline velocity.
- • Uphold PitchBook’s culture of “fail fast, learn faster,” celebrating calculated risks, transparent retrospectives, and continuous improvement in every sprint and quarterly planning cycle.
- • Represent the voice of the customer in quarterly business reviews and board-level updates, ensuring strategic decisions reflect real-world dealmaker workflows and emerging market dynamics.
