- • Take full product ownership of core areas of the subcontractor-facing product, driving the evolution of the marketplace experience for thousands of users in the construction industry.
- • Identify and implement AI use cases within the subcontractor workflow, including intelligent tender recommendations and automated bidding support, in close collaboration with designers and engineers.
- • Analyze user behavior, market trends, and product metrics to uncover growth opportunities and translate them into actionable strategic initiatives.
- • Develop hypotheses, design and execute experiments and prototypes to validate assumptions, then scale successful approaches across the product.
- • Partner with Marketing and Customer Success teams to ensure strong go-to-market execution for new features and product enhancements.
- • Balance supply and demand dynamics within the marketplace by understanding the needs of both subcontractors and project owners on the platform.
- • Own the end-to-end product lifecycle, from ideation and roadmap planning to feature launch and iteration based on feedback and data.
- • Translate complex, ambiguous problems in the construction procurement space into clear, pragmatic product solutions with measurable outcomes.
- • Utilize AI tools including LLM-based assistants, MCPs, and no-code prototyping platforms as integral parts of daily product discovery and delivery workflows.
- • Communicate product vision, priorities, and progress clearly across engineering, design, marketing, and customer-facing teams.
- • Collaborate cross-functionally to align product strategy with company goals, ensuring features deliver real value to subcontractors and improve efficiency in tendering processes.
- • Continuously monitor and interpret product performance indicators to refine the user experience and increase platform engagement and conversion rates.
- • Contribute to shaping the long-term product vision for AI-driven procurement in construction, with direct impact on a rapidly scaling platform.
- • Ensure product decisions are grounded in user insights and data, while maintaining a focus on simplicity and usability in a traditionally analog industry.
- • Work within a small, high-leverage team where individual contributions have immediate and visible impact on product direction and customer outcomes.
- • Support the creation of an inclusive, open feedback culture through regular 1:1s and development conversations focused on growth and alignment.
- • Engage with both German-speaking and international stakeholders, ensuring seamless communication and product localization where necessary.
- • Contribute to building a product that transforms the construction industry by reducing administrative overhead, increasing bid accuracy, and minimizing costly errors.
🎯 Requirements
- • 3–5 years of experience in product management in a B2B SaaS environment or a marketplace/platform business model
- • A solid understanding of marketplace dynamics and the ability to balance supply and demand sides
- • Strong analytical skills and a talent for turning complex problems into pragmatic solutions
- • You confidently use AI tools such as LLM-based assistants, MCPs, and no-code prototyping in your daily work
- • Experience with product roadmaps, user stories, and the full product lifecycle
- • Fluency in German and English, both written and spoken
