- • As a Sr. Product Manager, Onboarding at Kraken, you will be at the forefront of shaping the initial experience for millions of users globally, playing a pivotal role in accelerating the adoption of cryptocurrency and empowering individuals worldwide to achieve financial freedom.
- • You will own the strategy and execution for onboarding and verification experiences across Kraken s diverse client segments, including consumer, business, and institutional users, ensuring a seamless and engaging journey from the moment they decide to join the crypto revolution.

- • Your primary responsibility will be to champion a client-centric design philosophy, leveraging user feedback, market research, and data analytics to continuously refine and enhance the onboarding flow, making it intuitive, efficient, and rewarding.
- • You will be instrumental in scaling our identity verification solutions, meticulously balancing the stringent requirements of global regulatory bodies with the need for a smooth and friction-free user journey.
- • A key aspect of this role involves reimagining Know Your Customer (KYC) and verification processes, transforming them from potential hurdles into positive, progress-driven moments that celebrate users as they unlock access to powerful Kraken products like Futures, Margin, or Kraken Pro.
- • You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Legal, Compliance, Fraud, and Regional Operations, to proactively anticipate regulatory changes and embed these requirements into scalable, future-proof product solutions.
- • Strategic vendor management will be a significant part of your remit, involving the assessment, integration, and optimization of identity verification vendors to drive efficiency, innovation, and cost-effectiveness.
- • You will leverage data at scale to define key success metrics, identify and address bottlenecks within the onboarding funnel, and drive measurable improvements in user activation and conversion rates.
- • Influencing senior stakeholders will be crucial, requiring you to articulate compelling product strategy narratives, build robust business cases, and prioritize roadmap investments based on strategic impact and user value.
- • Fostering cross-team alignment across Marketing, Compliance, and Operations will be essential to ensure that our onboarding solutions seamlessly support and enable growth initiatives across the entire organization.

🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years of product management experience, with at least 2 years specifically focused on onboarding, identity verification, compliance, or regulated workflows.
- • Proven track record of owning product strategy and successfully delivering high-impact products within complex, regulated environments.
- • Deep understanding of KYC/AML regulations and the broader crypto regulatory landscape, with the ability to translate these requirements into scalable and user-friendly product solutions.
- • Experience leading vendor evaluations, integrations, and ongoing performance management for third-party solutions.
- • Advanced data fluency, including defining success metrics, prioritizing roadmap investments, and correlating product improvements with tangible business impact.
- • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to influence across functions and geographies, including writing clear and concise PRDs, strategy documents, and product vision narratives.
