- • As a Senior Product Owner for the Anti-Fraud Squad at RecargaPay, you will lead the defense of the company’s payment ecosystem by owning fraud prevention products that protect over 12 million users and USD 4 billion in annual transaction volume. Your role is critical in balancing robust security with seamless user experience in Brazil’s rapidly evolving financial market.
- • Day to day, you will define the fraud prevention roadmap, run independent SQL queries to uncover threat patterns and validate hypotheses, collaborate with Data Science and Engineering teams to shape Machine Learning models for chargeback prevention, PIX fraud, and account takeover, and translate strategy into technical user stories while managing a prioritized backlog for continuous delivery.

🎯 Requirements
- • Senior Experience as PM/PO - Proven track record managing digital products with high transaction volumes.
- • Hands-on Analytical Profile - Solid SQL knowledge to independently run queries, join datasets, and perform analyses (no need to be a DBA, but autonomy is required).
- • Payments / Fraud Background - Previous experience with payment methods (Acquiring, Issuers, Schemes) and/or fraud prevention tools.
- • Business Acumen - Ability to balance financial risk (losses) with user friction (conversion).
- • Communication Skills - Ability to communicate technically with developers and data scientists, and strategically with business stakeholders.
