- ⢠The Sr. Project Manager at FORTNA plays a critical role in delivering large-scale, high-impact material handling and supply chain solutions that enable global brands to meet the demands of digital transformation and omnichannel growth. This role ensures projects are delivered on time, on budget, and within scope, directly contributing to operational excellence and customer satisfaction across complex distribution networks.
- ⢠Manages multiple large, complex projects with budgets exceeding $30M, overseeing all phases from initiation to closure while maintaining rigorous financial controls, risk mitigation, and stakeholder alignment.
- ⢠Leads cross-functional project teams by defining workflows, assigning responsibilities based on individual strengths, and fostering collaboration through strong interpersonal and communication skills to ensure accountability and high performance.
- ⢠Executes change control processes, manages scope, schedule, and cost risks, and drives Project Change Notices (PCNs) to maintain project integrity amid evolving client and operational needs.
- ⢠Applies deep expertise in Material Handling Systems (MHS), Control Systems, and Warehouse Management to evaluate technologies, design solutions, and guide implementation strategies aligned with supply chain best practices.
- ⢠Partners with internal finance teams and project accountants to develop and manage departmental budgets, business plans, and financial forecasts, ensuring fiscal discipline across workstreams and programs.
- ⢠Provides strategic leadership by developing organizational goals, mentoring junior staff, and serving as a Resource Manager when business needs require, reinforcing a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
- ⢠Builds and sustains strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders through active listening, clear presentation delivery, and closed-loop communication to ensure acceptance of deliverables and long-term partnership success.

šÆ Requirements
- ⢠Bachelorās degree and 8+ years of experience, or 13+ years of equivalent work experience in industrial, mechanical, or civil engineering; industrial or construction management.
- ⢠Demonstrated advanced ability to develop and manage project budgets exceeding $30M, perform financial analysis, and collaborate with project accountants on budget tracking and forecasting.
- ⢠Proven expertise in managing multiple complex projects remotely, including change control, risk mitigation, scope/schedule/cost control, and leadership of cross-functional teams using PM software (MS Project, SharePoint) and Microsoft Office Suite.
