Full Job Description
đź“‹ Description
- • Own the end-to-end delivery of enterprise-level business integration initiatives that touch every corner of DUAL North America—from underwriting and claims to finance, compliance, and technology—ensuring each project lands on time, on budget, and with measurable business value.
- • Drive rigorous project governance: build detailed charters, work-breakdown structures, and integrated master schedules; chair weekly steering-committee meetings; publish concise, executive-ready status decks that surface risks, decisions, and next actions in language that resonates with C-suite stakeholders.
- • Serve as the single point of accountability for scope, schedule, cost, quality, and benefits realization across a portfolio of concurrent projects (12–18-month horizon), proactively re-baselining when market conditions, regulatory shifts, or strategic priorities change.
- • Translate complex regulatory and SOX requirements into actionable project tasks, partnering with Internal Audit, Legal, and Risk to embed controls, documentation standards, and evidence trails directly into project deliverables—turning compliance from a bottleneck into a competitive advantage.
- • Leverage Monday.com (or comparable PPM tools) to create living project dashboards that give every team member—from junior analysts to AVP level—real-time visibility into milestones, dependencies, and KPIs; automate alerts so nothing slips through the cracks.
- • Facilitate cross-functional workshops that bring together underwriting, actuarial, IT, and operations to surface hidden assumptions, resolve conflicting priorities, and lock in shared definitions of success—turning diverse perspectives into a single, executable roadmap.
- • Build and nurture a coalition of “project champions” across remote teams in California and beyond, using influence-without-authority techniques to secure resources, remove blockers, and keep momentum high—even when formal reporting lines don’t exist.
- • Optimize workflows continuously: map current-state processes, identify waste, pilot lean improvements, and institutionalize best practices so the organization becomes more mature with every project you close.
- • Produce crisp, audit-ready artifacts—charters, RAID logs, change-request registers, test plans, training collateral, and post-implementation reviews—ensuring knowledge is retained and reusable for future integrations.
- • Coach junior project coordinators and business analysts on PM methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, hybrid), creating a ripple effect of capability uplift that extends well beyond your contract term.
- • Champion a “People First” culture by embedding diversity, equity, and inclusion checkpoints into every phase of the project lifecycle, ensuring voices from all backgrounds are heard and valued.
- • Close projects with formal benefits-realization reviews: quantify hard-dollar savings, risk-reduction metrics, and customer-experience improvements, then socialize wins across the enterprise to reinforce the value of disciplined project management.
