We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sr. Provider Group Sales Manager to lead our field sales team across the Eastern and Central United States. This pivotal role is instrumental in driving Rula's growth by forging critical referral partnerships within medical practices, ultimately ensuring patients receive the timely and necessary behavioral health care they need. You will be at the forefront of changing how primary care physicians (PCPs) view and manage mental health, shifting the paradigm from a mere referral to a clinical responsibility they actively own.
  • • In this leadership position, you will be responsible for guiding and developing a team of Account Executives who engage directly with medical practices. Your primary objective will be to transform provider interest into tangible referral partnerships, thereby facilitating patient access to essential care. This involves approximately 50% travel to be in the field, coaching your team, and directly influencing the integration of mental health services within primary care settings. You will empower providers to see mental health not as a separate entity to be handed off, but as an integral component of comprehensive patient care, a crucial element in any quality care model.
  • • Your day-to-day responsibilities will include hands-on coaching of your sales team in their interactions with medical practices. You will ensure that every practice that signs on becomes an actively engaged partner, consistently raising the standard for patient care when they seek help from their doctor. This role requires a deep understanding of sales tactics within clinical environments, including conducting lunch and learns, performing cold walk-ins, managing scheduled office visits, and participating in ride-alongs with your representatives. You will be expected to provide guidance on effective field presence and sales strategies, moving beyond purely remote or inside selling techniques.
  • • A significant aspect of this role involves driving behavioral change among providers. You will coach your team on how to effectively communicate the value of integrated mental healthcare, demonstrating how it is a 'need-to-have' rather than a 'nice-to-have' in modern healthcare delivery. This includes equipping them with the tools and knowledge to act on this understanding and fostering a strong connection between primary care and mental health services, an area where the healthcare system has historically fallen short. You will be accountable for ensuring that signed practices translate into active, engaged partners who are effectively referring patients to behavioral health services.
  • • This position reports directly to the Director of Provider Group Sales and is central to Rula's expansion strategy. You will play a key role in shaping the sales playbook and ensuring its effective execution across your team. Your leadership will directly impact Rula's ability to scale its services and make a significant difference in the lives of individuals seeking mental health support.
