- • Build and maintain end-to-end test automation frameworks and test suites using Cypress or comparable tools
- • Own test coverage for assigned features and regression suites across web, API, and integration layers
- • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines such as GitHub Actions and Jenkins in collaboration with engineering teams
- • Follow and contribute to established QA standards, best practices, and coverage criteria defined by the team
- • Participate in risk-based test planning and prioritization for multi-service features and product releases
- • Collaborate with developers through code reviews and pairing sessions to promote testability and improve code quality
- • Champion quality by influencing sprint planning and design discussions to shift testing earlier in the development cycle
- • Identify gaps in testing tooling or processes and propose actionable improvements within your team’s scope
- • Perform debugging and trace failures across web and API layers to ensure accurate root cause analysis
- • Apply knowledge of testing methodologies including unit, integration, end-to-end, regression, and exploratory testing
- • Work remotely as a fully distributed team member across the United States
- • Contribute to maturing test automation practices and raising the overall quality bar across engineering teams
- • Maintain consistent communication and alignment with Product and Engineering stakeholders to ensure quality objectives are met
- • Ensure automated test suites remain reliable, scalable, and maintainable as product complexity grows
- • Support continuous delivery by validating releases through automated validation pipelines
- • Advocate for comprehensive test coverage across all layers of the application stack
- • Stay current with evolving automation tools and industry best practices in QA engineering
🎯 Requirements
- • 3–5 years of QA engineering experience with a strong automation focus
- • Hands-on experience with Cypress, Playwright, or a comparable modern test automation framework
- • Proficiency in at least one programming language — JavaScript/TypeScript strongly preferred
- • Working knowledge of REST API testing using tools such as Postman
- • Experience running automated test suites in CI/CD environments
- • Solid understanding of testing methodologies: unit, integration, end-to-end, regression and exploratory testing
