- • Create and execute automated test suites across multiple products and services to ensure high-quality product releases, aligning with project schedules and team timelines.
- • Collaborate with onshore and offshore QA Automation engineers, coordinating team activities, assigning individual tasks, and mentoring team members on technical procedures and automation techniques.
- • Develop comprehensive test strategies for automated testing, ensuring alignment with product functionality, customer needs, and release schedules.
- • Maintain and optimize regression test suites and automation pipelines, ensuring clean test runs, fast execution times, and minimal false positives.
- • Work closely with Scrum teams to rapidly address issues identified during regression analysis and provide timely resolution recommendations.
- • Accumulate and report statistical data on test results and defect trends to management, using insights to drive quality improvements.
- • Partner with QA Management to establish, evolve, and standardize QA Automation processes, procedures, and tools in accordance with industry best practices.
- • Recommend and implement appropriate test environments and automation frameworks to enhance testing efficiency and coverage.
- • Serve as a technical subject matter expert in QA Automation, providing leadership and guidance on automation architecture and tooling decisions.
- • Communicate automation progress, risks, and recommendations clearly to management and cross-functional stakeholders.
- • Develop a deep understanding of product features and customer workflows to translate requirements into effective automated test solutions.
- • Adapt quickly to changing project priorities and adjust automation resources and strategies accordingly.
- • Foster strong collaboration with software development, product design, and support teams to ensure seamless integration of quality assurance into the development lifecycle.
- • Maintain effective communication and positive working relationships across departments to promote a customer-centric quality culture.
- • Measure and strive for high-quality releases by reducing severity 1 defects post-release and improving customer satisfaction scores from product surveys.
- • Leverage AI tools and technologies in QA automation projects, applying specific AI-assisted methods to improve test creation, maintenance, or defect detection outcomes.
- • Take full ownership of one or more regression automation suites, including ongoing maintenance, troubleshooting, performance tuning, and continuous improvement.
- • Utilize SQL queries to validate data integrity and support test case validation, with preference for experience in MySQL and SQL Server.
- • Automate API testing for REST and SOAP services using ReadyAPI or SoapUI, ensuring comprehensive coverage of backend functionality.
- • Configure and manage Azure DevOps or equivalent test management tools, including Repos, build pipelines, test pipelines, defect tracking, and user story management.
- • Implement Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) frameworks, with Reqnroll being the preferred tool for test specification and execution.
- • Work effectively with distributed teams, including offshore and onshore QA and development resources, ensuring alignment and consistent delivery.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
- • Minimum of 7 years of experience in Software QA
- • Minimum of 3 years of experience automating web-based applications using Selenium WebDriver, C#, and Page Object model
- • Extensive experience with API testing (REST and SOAP services) and API test automation using ReadyAPI or SoapUI
- • Experience with Azure DevOps or equivalent test management tool for configuring Repos, builds, test pipelines, defect tracking, and user stories
- • Demonstrated experience leveraging AI tools and technologies in QA automation projects with specific examples of improvements delivered
