  • • As a Sr Quality Process Engineer at Campbell Soup Company, you will be at the forefront of ensuring the highest standards of product quality and consumer satisfaction across our diverse and iconic brands. This pivotal Technical Service role is designed to identify and address critical areas of opportunity, directly impacting both consumer experience and financial performance. You will be instrumental in assessing and refining Critical to Process (CTP) parameters, meticulously identifying sources of variation, and developing robust action plans to drive consistency in Critical to Quality (CTQ) parameters. Your expertise will be crucial in enhancing compliance and leading systematic problem-solving initiatives within identified loss areas.
  • • This position demands a proactive and analytical approach, requiring you to design, lead, and execute projects of varying complexity. These projects will span critical areas such as food safety, overall product quality, manufacturing productivity, and other essential operational needs. You will be a key player in making history by contributing to the continuous improvement of our food products and manufacturing processes.
  • • A significant portion of your role, approximately 40%, will be dedicated to rigorous data analysis and deriving actionable insights. This involves designing comprehensive data collection plans, leading the analysis of collected output, and conducting process capability studies, often utilizing tools like Minitab. You will spearhead root cause analysis efforts, collaborating across various functional groups to establish clear priorities and define concrete actions. Developing and managing dynamic data sets will be essential to track progress against project goals, ensuring accountability and measurable outcomes. Furthermore, you will partner closely with the IT department to guarantee data accessibility and seamless integration into business processes, fostering the sustainability of achieved improvements. Identifying and implementing new analytical tools to enhance the quantitative analysis of critical parameters will also be a key responsibility, alongside developing new quality testing methods as needed to support identified CTPs.
  • • Another 40% of your time will be focused on active project management. You will lead cross-functional teams, guiding them towards achieving target enablers and enhancing consumer experience improvements. This involves establishing and maintaining a transparent governance process for projects, working collaboratively with key stakeholders. You will coordinate capital project planning requirements as necessary and develop focused strategies and implementation plans for Statistical Process Control (SPC) integration for identified process parameters. A crucial aspect of this work will be building standard operating procedures, foundational knowledge, and practical training content to ensure the long-term success and adoption of new processes. You will also be expected to perform other duties as required and demonstrate the flexibility to adapt to evolving business needs.
  • • The remaining 20% of your role will be dedicated to developing and implementing effective communication strategies. This ensures that project teams, stakeholders, and cross-functional leadership remain consistently informed about project progress, potential challenges, and any support that may be required. Clear and consistent communication is vital for aligning efforts and securing buy-in across the organization.
  • • You will report directly to the Quality Process Manager, working within a supportive team environment that values innovation and continuous improvement. This role offers a unique opportunity to influence product quality and manufacturing excellence at a company with a rich history and a commitment to connecting people through food they love.
