Sr. Security Engineer, Vulnerability Management

📋 Description

• • As a Senior Security Engineer in Vulnerability Management at Alkami Technology, you will own and advance the enterprise vulnerability management program as a hands-on individual contributor, ensuring the protection of Alkami and its clients through proactive risk reduction.
• • Day to day, you will own the vulnerability management lifecycle including scanning, triage, risk scoring, remediation tracking, validation, and continuous improvement; leverage AI systems to automate patches and configuration changes; optimize vulnerability management platforms for scalable coverage across infrastructure, applications, and cloud environments; develop metrics and executive reporting; communicate status through governance forums; apply risk-based prioritization using CVSS and threat intelligence; partner with Red Team, IT, Engineering, SRE, and Compliance to mitigate risks; manage scanning exemptions and exceptions; improve asset ownership and reporting; drive visibility of cloud misconfigurations and over-permissioned identities; and act as a technical leader influencing remediation strategies and long-term planning.
