📋 Description

• • Architect, build, and own cloud-native solutions that power the end-to-end device lifecycle—from supply-chain ingestion through manufacturing, fulfillment, and post-sale services—touching millions of devices and terabytes of mission-critical data every month.
• • Drive the modernization of legacy on-prem systems by migrating them to Microsoft Azure using micro-services, serverless functions, durable workflows, and containerized workloads while ensuring zero-downtime cut-overs and backward compatibility.
• • Design and implement high-throughput, low-latency RESTful APIs in C# (.NET 6/7) that expose clean, versioned contracts for internal manufacturing execution systems, third-party logistics partners, and customer-facing portals; enforce security via Azure AD, managed identities, and policy-driven RBAC.
• • Own the full SDLC: translate ambiguous business requirements into technical epics, author detailed logical and physical data models, write clean test-covered code, create CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps, and deploy to AKS, App Service, and Function Apps with automated canary and blue-green strategies.
• • Optimize and refactor existing SQL Server and Cosmos DB schemas for performance, scalability, and cost; introduce partitioning, indexing, and caching strategies that cut query times by 40 %+ and reduce Azure spend by 25 %.
• • Integrate Azure Cognitive Services, Form Recognizer, and Azure OpenAI to add intelligent automation—e.g., auto-classify shipping documents, predict device failure rates, and surface conversational insights to operations managers—delivering measurable ROI within the first quarter.
• • Provide 24 × 7 live-site ownership: build rich telemetry with Application Insights, Log Analytics, and custom Kusto queries; define SLIs/SLOs, create actionable alerts, and lead war-room incident response to achieve 99.9 % uptime.
• • Collaborate daily with hardware engineers, supply-chain analysts, and data scientists to translate physical-world constraints into elegant software abstractions; facilitate design reviews, sprint planning, and blameless post-mortems that foster a culture of continuous improvement.
• • Mentor junior engineers through pair-programming, architecture reviews, and brown-bag sessions; champion engineering best practices such as TDD, clean architecture, and domain-driven design.
• • Contribute to the broader Blueprint engineering community by publishing internal tech blogs, presenting at guild meetings, and open-sourcing reusable components that accelerate delivery across all client engagements.
• • Evaluate emerging Azure services (e.g., Azure Container Apps, Durable Functions v2) and conduct proof-of-concepts that keep the platform two steps ahead of business growth and regulatory requirements.
• • Balance tactical firefighting with strategic vision—when a production line halts at 2 a.m., you jump on the bridge call; when the dust settles, you automate the fix and codify the runbook so it never happens again.
