- • As a Senior Software Engineer specializing in Elixir, you will play a critical role in building and maintaining scalable, cloud-based systems that power PAR Technology’s point-of-sale solutions for convenience stores worldwide, directly contributing to seamless customer experiences in the restaurant and retail technology space.
- • Your day-to-day responsibilities include designing and developing server-side features using Elixir and Phoenix, deploying and managing applications on AWS (EKS, S3, Aurora), leading architecture discussions, writing clean and testable code with TDD/BDD practices, collaborating in Agile environments, and improving code through peer reviews and testing.

🎯 Requirements
- • 8+ years of professional software engineering experience
- • Proven expertise with Elixir and OTP principles
- • Proficiency with relational and non-relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL (including schemas, queries, performance tuning, JSONB, and indexing)
- • Hands-on experience deploying and managing applications on AWS (EKS, S3, Aurora)
- • Proficiency in writing clean, maintainable, testable code using TDD/BDD practices
- • Experience working in Agile teams with code reviews, CI/CD, and collaborative development practices
