- • As a Sr. Software Engineer - Partnerships New Verticals at Rula Health, you will design and scale robust systems to expand access to mental health care through strategic partnerships with government, employers, and primary care providers, directly impacting patient outcomes in emerging growth areas.
- • You will spend your days building full-stack features, leading technical initiatives from conception to delivery, mentoring peers, conducting code reviews, and optimizing distributed systems for scalability, security, and maintainability using modern tools and AI-assisted development.
- • You will join a remote-first, cross-functional engineering team within Rula’s Partnerships organization, which focuses on driving patient starts through collaborations with payers, providers, health systems, PCPs, employers, and brokers, all working to reduce stigma and improve access to mental healthcare.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in full-stack development, AI integration, cloud-native architectures, and system design while contributing to meaningful projects that scale mental health access across underserved populations and advance your leadership in a high-growth, mission-driven environment.
🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years of professional software development experience with a proven track record of building and scaling web applications in production
- • Proven experience leading high-priority technical projects from conception to delivery, including stakeholder alignment and trade-off navigation
- • Deep expertise in modern full-stack technologies—ideally TypeScript, React, and Node.js—with strong grasp of functional and object-oriented programming
- • Proficiency in leveraging AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor, or GitHub Copilot) to accelerate delivery and enhance code quality
- • Demonstrated ability to design and implement complex, distributed systems that are scalable, maintainable, and secure
