- • Sr. Software Engineer - Provider Services (Remote) at Rula Health, Inc. is a critical role focused on designing and building scalable, reliable backend systems that connect health providers and patients, supporting telehealth functions and third-party integrations essential to the company’s mission of delivering impactful mental healthcare solutions.
- • Day to day, the engineer will identify and solve complex technical challenges, drive all phases of the development lifecycle from planning to post-launch maintenance, collaborate across teams, and innovate on system architecture, API design, data modeling, security, performance, and scaling to ensure high availability and reliability of core provider services.

- • In this role, the engineer will deepen expertise in scalable system design, cloud platforms (AWS), modern backend technologies (Node.js, TypeScript, Kafka), and event-driven architectures while leading cross-functional initiatives and contributing to mission-driven innovation in mental healthcare technology.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, related field, or comparable work experience
- • 5+ years of professional engineering experience
- • Experience designing and building highly scalable, reliable, available, and performant systems
- • Expert understanding of application architecture, API design patterns, data modeling, security, performance, and scaling
- • Experience driving all phases of the development lifecycle: planning, execution, measuring success, and post-launch maintenance
- • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with peers, partners, and stakeholders
