📋 Description

• As a Sr. Software Engineer (UI) at Loft Labs, Inc., you will play a pivotal role in shaping the user experience for our cutting-edge vCluster platform. This is an exceptional opportunity to own the frontend architecture and translate complex concepts in Kubernetes and GPU virtualization into intuitive, highly efficient interfaces. You will be instrumental in empowering Platform Engineers and the creators of AI factories and Neoclouds, ensuring they have the tools to build and manage the next generation of compute infrastructure with unparalleled ease.
• Your primary focus will be on user-centric implementation. This means meticulously crafting interfaces that prioritize efficiency, enabling users to accomplish their tasks swiftly and effectively, minimizing friction and maximizing productivity. You will delve deep into understanding user workflows and pain points to deliver solutions that truly resonate and perform.
• You will be responsible for the end-to-end Platform UI Development, concentrating on implementing high-quality user interfaces specifically within the context of Kubernetes and the vCluster platform. This involves not just building features, but ensuring they are robust, scalable, and seamlessly integrated into the existing ecosystem.
• The role demands modern stack execution, leveraging React and Tailwind CSS to construct scalable, maintainable, and aesthetically pleasing frontend components. You will be expected to write clean, well-documented code that adheres to best practices, ensuring the long-term health and evolution of the codebase.
• A significant aspect of your role will involve Design Collaboration. You will work closely with design teams to achieve a high standard of UI execution. The goal is to attain the polish, usability, and intuitive feel characteristic of best-in-class software tools, ensuring our platform is not only powerful but also a joy to use.

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years of professional software engineering experience with a strong emphasis on frontend development.
• Demonstrated history of consistency and commitment, with a minimum of 2 years spent at previous employers to ensure project maturity and impact.
• Solid foundational knowledge of core web technologies: CSS, HTML, and JavaScript, with a deep understanding of how frameworks are built upon these fundamentals.
• Proven experience with modern JavaScript frameworks, specifically React, and proficiency with utility-first CSS frameworks like Tailwind CSS or comparable alternatives.
• A strong product mindset, defining successful UI not solely by aesthetics but by its ability to enable users to achieve their goals efficiently and effectively.
• Bonus: Familiarity with the Kubernetes, DevOps, or broader Infrastructure as Code (IaC) domain.
• Bonus: Experience with UI component libraries, particularly RADIX.
• Bonus: Prior experience in an early-stage startup environment, demonstrating autonomy and a drive to build impactful products.
