📋 Description
- • The Sr. Specialist I, Integration will lead the design, architecture, and strategic implementation of complex integration solutions tailored to client needs.
- • This role involves high-level planning, client consultations, and providing technical guidance to ensure all integrations adhere to best practices, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
- • The Sr. Specialist I will also oversee the work of Integration Engineers, ensuring alignment with broader project objectives.
- • Strategic Design and Architecture:
- • Lead the design and architecture of healthcare integration solutions that align with client requirements and industry best practices.
- • Design, develop, and maintain integration solutions using HL7, FHIR, APIs, and other healthcare interoperability standards.
- • Develop customized integration solutions by extending industry standards to meet specific client requirements.
- • Develop advanced transformations, mappings, and custom scripts using JavaScript and related technologies.
- • Leverage hands-on knowledge of AWS to support integration deployments where applicable.
- • Troubleshoot and resolve complex integration and interoperability challenges.
- • Client-Facing Consultations:
- • Work closely with stakeholders and clients to understand and define integration requirements and system architecture.
- • Serve as a trusted advisor to ensure that integration solutions meet industry and regulatory standards.
- • Oversight and Mentorship:
- • Oversee the work of Integration Specialists to ensure their deliverables align with broader project goals and strategic direction.
- • Provide mentorship and technical leadership to ensure team success.
- • Compliance and Standards:
- • Perform security assessments and compliance audits for data exchange solutions.
- • Ensure integration aligns with standards such as HL7, FHIR, APIs, and other relevant protocols.
- • Keep solutions compliant with industry-specific regulations (e.g., HIPAA in healthcare).
- • Perform other duties that support the overall objective of the position.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- • 5+ years of experience in healthcare integration and interface development.
- • Strong experience developing integrations using Mirth Connect (NextGen Connect) or similar integration engines.
- • Experience working with HL7 v2/v3, FHIR and RESTful APIs and healthcare interoperability standards.
- • Experience with JavaScript, Java, SQL, XML, JSON, and API-based integrations.
- • Experience with TCP/IP, socket communications, serial port communications.
- • Hands-on experience with AWS is preferred.
- • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization, deployment, orchestration, and management of integration applications is preferred.
- • Experience developing healthcare integration solutions within Hospital Information Systems.
- • Experience managing multiple integration projects simultaneously.
