- • As a Sr. Staff Engineer, Cloud Platforms and Operations at NextGen Healthcare, Inc., you will be at the forefront of defining and executing our cloud infrastructure strategy, acting as a recognized expert in cloud engineering, infrastructure automation, and DevOps practices. This pivotal role demands deep technical mastery across multiple domains, empowering you to provide strategic technical leadership, mentorship, and hands-on guidance to diverse teams across the organization. You will be instrumental in architecting resilient, scalable, and secure cloud platforms, significantly influencing the enterprise-wide technical direction and ensuring our technological capabilities align seamlessly with our ambitious business outcomes.
- • Your primary responsibility will be to define and lead the architectural vision for our cloud infrastructure and platform automation initiatives. This involves ensuring that our platforms are not only scalable and performant but also inherently secure across all environments, laying the groundwork for future growth and innovation.
- • You will serve as a subject matter expert, delving into critical areas such as CloudOps, infrastructure-as-code (IaC), advanced observability solutions, container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes, and the design of robust CI/CD pipelines. Your expertise will be crucial in guiding the implementation of best practices and cutting-edge solutions.
- • A significant aspect of this role involves guiding and mentoring engineers at all levels. You will foster a culture of technical excellence, encourage continuous learning, and help develop the next generation of cloud and infrastructure leaders within the company.
- • You will play a key role in influencing the organization’s broader technical strategy and roadmap. This will be achieved through proactive innovation, fostering strong peer collaboration, and demonstrating cross-discipline leadership that inspires and directs technical efforts.
- • Tackling complex and ambiguous infrastructure challenges will be a core part of your day-to-day. You will leverage advanced technical analysis and your deep domain expertise to devise effective and sustainable solutions.
- • You will be responsible for establishing critical technical standards, developing reusable patterns, and implementing governance practices that can be effectively scaled across multiple product lines and engineering teams, ensuring consistency and quality.
