- • As a Sr. Strategic Finance Manager - Self Serve and New Products at Zapier, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the company's self-serve and new products businesses by driving top-line forecasting, planning, and analysis for one of the most critical parts of the business.
- • You will serve as the dedicated finance partner for Zapier's self-serve business, working closely with the Chief Product Officer, SVP of Marketing, and CFO to bring a unified financial perspective across product, marketing, and finance leadership, while owning revenue models, building analytical infrastructure, and driving insights that give you exposure to the executive team.
- • You will join a mission-driven, all-remote company that values automation, AI, diversity, inclusion, and equity, where you’ll operate in a culture that encourages proactive issue surfacing, cross-functional collaboration, and building from scratch in ambiguous environments.
- • In this role, you will develop deep expertise in self-serve SaaS economics, master end-to-end funnel analysis, and gain visibility into executive decision-making by translating complex financial analysis into clear, actionable recommendations that influence product, pricing, and growth strategy.
🎯 Requirements
- • 6-8+ years of experience in FP&A, strategic finance, or a related analytical role, ideally at a product-led or self-serve SaaS company.
- • Proficiency in SQL with the ability to pull and manipulate data independently without relying on BI or data analyst teams.
- • Deep understanding of self-serve business dynamics including churn, contraction, expansion, net new revenue, and the full funnel from visitor to signup to paid conversion and upgrade.
- • Strong communication skills to translate complex analysis into clear recommendations for finance leadership and cross-functional partners.
- • Comfort with ambiguity and a bias toward proactively surfacing issues and opportunities.
- • Demonstrated use of AI in daily work as part of a high-performance workflow, with evidence of iterative improvement and impact on quality and efficiency.
