Full Job Description

đź“‹ Description

  • • Architect and maintain the backbone of a global analytics powerhouse: you will design, deploy, and continuously improve the hybrid-cloud infrastructure that keeps 1,000+ AP employees in 14 offices collaborating at the speed of insight. From Dallas you’ll touch every laptop, mobile device, server, and network segment that powers the world’s largest brands’ data-driven decisions.
  • • Own the full lifecycle of enterprise systems: translate business needs into technical blueprints, build resilient configurations in Azure & on-prem, automate deployments with Infrastructure-as-Code, and shepherd each change through QA, security review, and production release—always with 99.9 % uptime in mind.
  • • Be the go-to guardian of identity and access: administer Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Active Directory, Exchange Online, and Intune to ensure seamless single sign-on, conditional access, and zero-trust security policies across a multi-national workforce that pivots between offices, homes, and client sites daily.
  • • Engineer network excellence: configure VLANs, routing protocols, firewalls, Wi-Fi, and VoIP across our hybrid environment; monitor performance with Lansweeper and OpenDNS; and proactively patch or upgrade devices before a single packet drops or a threat actor knocks.
  • • Champion security-first operations: maintain AV/AM, IDS, SIEM logging, and endpoint detection; respond to alerts from CrowdStrike, Zscaler, and Fortinet; run tabletop incident-response drills; and turn lessons learned into hardened policies, runbooks, and user-education programs.
  • • Empower every employee with frictionless technology: provision laptops, mobile devices, and SaaS licenses through automated workflows; resolve complex tickets escalated from the AP Help Desk; and deliver white-glove onboarding for executives, data scientists, and client-facing teams alike.
  • • Drive continuous improvement: mine JIRA metrics to spot bottlenecks, craft PowerBI dashboards that visualize IT health, and pitch quarterly projects that cut costs, boost performance, or unlock new capabilities—then lead cross-functional squads to deliver them.
  • • Safeguard business continuity: design and test system-backup strategies in Azure and on-prem, validate RPO/RTO targets, and orchestrate disaster-recovery exercises so that even a regional outage can’t interrupt a client deliverable.
  • • Master the art of clear communication: translate technical jargon into crisp updates for Finance, HR, and CET stakeholders; author concise runbooks and architecture diagrams; and present post-incident reviews that turn chaos into shared learning.
  • • Cultivate a culture of growth: mentor junior admins, host lunch-and-learns on emerging tech, and actively recruit diverse talent so our team mirrors the global communities we serve—because at AP, people are our differentiator.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 3–4 years of hands-on experience as an IT Systems Administrator, including 1–2 years of network troubleshooting (VLANs, routing, firewall fundamentals)
  • • Proven ability to administer Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, Entra ID, Intune), and core Azure services (identity, networking, resource management)
  • • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field preferred; Associate’s degree or equivalent professional experience accepted
  • • Security-first mindset with working knowledge of identity, endpoint, and network-security best practices
  • • Nice-to-have: experience with Fortinet firewalls, CrowdStrike, Zscaler, AWS, and formal IT documentation or process-improvement initiatives

🏖️ Benefits

  • • Hybrid work model anchored in our vibrant Dallas hub—collaborate in person when it matters, work from home when it doesn’t
  • • Clear merit-based career path: every project you ship and risk you mitigate accelerates your growth toward lead architect or manager roles
  • • Global exposure: daily collaboration with colleagues in London, Singapore, Sydney, and beyond, plus opportunities for short-term assignments abroad
  • • Woman-founded, diversity-led culture that invests in continuous learning stipends, mentorship programs, and employee-resource groups
