  • • As a Senior Systems Engineer for Enterprise in the UK, you will serve as a trusted technical advisor to enterprise and IT customers, driving successful deployment of wired and wireless networking solutions throughout the sales cycle and beyond.
  • • Your day-to-day responsibilities include partnering with account teams, MSPs, VARs, and channel partners to deliver pre-sales technical consultation, solution design, product demonstrations, and proof-of-concepts tailored to enterprise needs; leading architecture and deployment of enterprise-grade Wi-Fi, switching, routing, security, and cloud networking solutions; presenting technical content to diverse audiences including IT stakeholders and internal teams; acting as the technical bridge between customers, partners, and NETGEAR Support to ensure smooth post-sales transitions and manage escalations; serving as the voice of the customer by gathering, analyzing, and communicating technical feedback and feature requests to Product Management; designing and supporting secure networking environments using Zero Trust principles; promoting adoption of cloud-managed networking platforms with capabilities like zero-touch provisioning and network analytics; conducting RF planning and wireless network design using tools such as Ekahau; enabling and supporting NETGEAR’s channel ecosystem through technical training and joint customer engagements; and maintaining in-depth knowledge of competitive products and market trends.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 5+ years of experience in Systems Engineering, Network Engineering, or a similar technical customer-facing role
  • • Expertise in Wi-Fi 6/6E/7 wireless networking technologies
  • • Knowledge of Layer 2/3 switching, VLANs, routing, QoS, and enterprise security practices
  • • Experience with cloud-managed networking (Netgear Insight or competitive solutions)
  • • Understanding of Zero Trust security concepts including identity-based access and micro-segmentation
  • • Strong troubleshooting and solution development skills across wireless and wired networks
  • • Experience using RF design tools such as Ekahau or Hamina
  • • Experience supporting or working with channel partners, MSPs, and mid-market enterprise customers
  • • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to influence technical and business audiences
  • • Excellent organizational and project coordination skills
