- • Serve as a trusted advisor providing technical guidance and operational support to healthcare clients using NextGen Healthcare solutions, directly influencing product adoption, system stability, and customer satisfaction in a remote-first environment.
- • Support solutions, provide technical guidance and advocate for the customer; ensure environments remain operationally healthy while reducing cost and complexity through proactive monitoring and optimization.
- • Develop trusting relationships with customers by understanding their business needs and technical challenges, acting as a bridge between clinical workflows and technology infrastructure.
- • Drive technical discussions regarding incidents, trade-offs, and risk management; collaborate with Solutions Architects, Business Developers, Professional Services Consultants, Sales Account Managers, and C-suite executives to align technical outcomes with business goals.
- • Provide detailed reviews of service disruptions and all metrics; proactively problem solve and identify opportunities for customers to improve system performance, security, and usability.
- • Develop methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results; work with operations teams to provide ongoing maintenance including updates, patching, and antivirus management.
- • Troubleshoot and resolve issues in assigned technology including hardware, software, operating systems, and application-related issues; conduct performance monitoring, systems health checks, and capacity planning to ensure optimal system availability.
- • Report progress of projects/tasks to all stakeholders in a timely and efficient manner; identify and document issues prior to client impact, working cross-functionally to drive product improvement.
- • Support clients undertaking gap analysis between current and future state so that solution configurations meet evolving clinical and operational needs.
- • Perform other duties that support the overall objective of the position, contributing to NextGen Healthcare’s mission of transforming healthcare through innovative technology.

🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- • 5 years of relevant experience as a Technical Account Manager or in a similar technical support/client-facing role.
- • Cloud hosting expertise with preference for AWS knowledge and certifications.
- • Experience in the medical or healthcare field is preferred.
- • Strong troubleshooting skills for hardware, software, operating systems, and application-related issues.
- • Proficiency in performance monitoring, systems health checks, capacity planning, and Microsoft Office.
