- • Translate cutting-edge AI concepts—including LLMs, RAG, and agentic frameworks—into production-ready workflows that solve real user problems.
- • Collaborate directly with engineers and data scientists during debug sessions, design reviews, and brainstorming to drive technical clarity and unblock progress.
- • Own end-to-end product delivery: define, scope, prioritize, and ship features in tight iterations while balancing user value, technical feasibility, and time-to-market.
- • Sweat the technical details: understand and evaluate model performance metrics, API contracts, data pipelines, and system integrations to ensure product quality and reliability.
- • Partner with Customer Success to analyze real-world user interactions, identify pain points in workflows, and translate messy customer behaviors into elegant technical solutions.
- • Identify and pursue opportunities where Joist AI’s agentic AI technology can fundamentally transform how work is executed across industries.
- • Champion a high-speed, high-accountability product culture that values rigor, ownership, and shipping production-grade systems over perfection.
- • Act as the primary bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders, communicating complex AI concepts with clarity and no-nonsense precision.
- • Help define and shape the product organization’s DNA at a company where AI innovation is the core product, not an add-on.
- • Maintain deep familiarity with the evolving landscape of autonomous AI systems, agent architectures, and ML operationalization practices to inform product direction.
- • Remove blockers proactively, make fast trade-offs under ambiguity, and hustle to deliver results in a fast-moving, early-stage environment.
- • Ensure product decisions are grounded in both technical reality and customer insight, never losing sight of the end-user impact.
- • Stay hands-on with product tooling, analytics, and feedback loops to continuously refine product direction based on real usage data.
🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years of product management or technical leadership experience in SaaS, AI, or ML products
- • Strong technical fluency in LLMs, embeddings, RAG, and ability to engage in technical design sessions with engineers
- • Demonstrated ability to debug, solve problems, and make informed decisions in ambiguous, fast-moving environments
- • Entrepreneurial drive with comfort in imperfect information, quick pivots, and hustling to deliver value
- • Relentless attention to detail and pride in shipping high-quality, production-ready AI systems
