- • Serve as the primary point of contact for top-tier commercial AV integrators, distributors, consultants, and end customers across Australia and New Zealand (AUNZ) to drive sales growth of NETGEAR’s IP networking switching and wireless products.
- • Proactively identify, recruit, onboard, and develop strategic channel partners including value-added distributors and sub-distributors within key verticals such as commercial fit-outs, government, education, hospitality, live events, and broadcast.
- • Manage and expand existing distribution channels to increase share of wallet across all NETGEAR product categories in the AUNZ AV market.
- • Conduct face-to-face engagements with partners and end customers in major AUNZ cities including Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, Adelaide, Auckland, and Wellington to generate quarterly recurring revenue.
- • Develop and execute targeted business plans and sales strategies for key accounts, with a focus on accelerating adoption of wireless access points and managed switches powered by NETGEAR’s cloud solution.
- • Negotiate partnership agreements, manage product pricing and margins, and ensure alignment with NETGEAR’s commercial objectives and territory targets.
- • Meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales quotas for both top-line revenue and bottom-line profitability across the AUNZ region.
- • Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer and prospect data using CRM systems and provide weekly sales forecasts and territory reporting.
- • Coordinate closely with internal teams including Sales Engineering, Marketing, Product Management, Tech Support, and Operations to optimize sales execution and customer outcomes.
- • Deliver regular training sessions to partner teams at all levels on NETGEAR’s AV switching and access point product lines, ensuring technical proficiency and sales readiness.
- • Gather and relay competitive intelligence, market trends, and channel insights from the AUNZ AV landscape to inform product strategy and go-to-market initiatives.
- • Attend key industry trade shows such as Integrate Expo and InfoComm Australia to build brand presence and generate new business opportunities.
- • Operate autonomously with an entrepreneurial mindset while maintaining strong collaboration with the broader APAC sales team.
- • Maintain a deep understanding of AV over IP architecture and the role of networking switches and access points within commercial AV, rental, live event, and broadcast ecosystems.
- • Demonstrate a proven ability to close high-value sales against well-resourced competitors in the AUNZ market.
- • Travel approximately 50% of the time to conduct joint calls with partners, visit integrator offices, and participate in regional trade events.
🎯 Requirements
- • 8+ years of proven sales and partner account management experience in the commercial AV industry within Australia and New Zealand
- • Extensive existing network of CEO/CTO-level contacts among AV integrators, consultants, distributors, and resellers in AUNZ
- • Demonstrated track record of growing market share and achieving quota in the AUNZ AV market, including closing high-value sales campaigns
- • Deep understanding of AV over IP, IP networking switches, wireless access points, and channel dynamics in the commercial AV sector
- • Ability to develop and execute territory-wide business plans with accurate forecasting and quota attainment
- • Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams
