• • We are seeking a highly-organized, detail‑driven Staff Accountant for this newly created role supporting Vytal Health Partners (VHP).
• • In this role, you will manage accurate financial records, prepare timely financial reports, and support compliance with all applicable accounting standards and regulations.

• • This is a remote position; candidates must be willing to work Eastern Time Zone business hours.
• • Priority will be given to candidates based in Northern Ohio.
• • Candidates based outside the area should expect occasional travel to Northern Ohio office.
• • What you will do:
• • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
• • Prepare monthly financial statements and supporting reports.
• • Assist in the development of annual budgets and financial forecasts.
• • Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
• • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately.
• • Assist with payroll processing and related reporting requirements.
• • Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and company policies.
• • Support internal and external audit activities by providing required documentation.
• • Assist with tax preparation and related filings as needed.
• • Perform additional accounting duties and projects as assigned.
• • What You Need to Succeed:
• • 3-5 years of accounting experience, with a strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
• • Confident, independent operator who can serve as the go-to person for accounting matters, comfortable managing the function and interfacing with other teams and entities.
• • Experience with modern accounting/ERP systems required (e.g. NetSuite, Sage, QuickBooks Online); NetSuite experience a plus.
• • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
• • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
• • High attention to detail with the ability to meet deadlines.
• • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
• • Healthcare industry a plus.
• • Must be willing to work Eastern Time Zone business hours, with approximately 10% travel to our Northern Ohio offices
