• • As a Staff AI Engineer at Workato, you will lead the design, development, and optimization of intelligent search systems that power the Context Layer for the Agentic Enterprise, enabling real-time, AI-driven workflow automation across enterprise applications.
• • Your day-to-day responsibilities include leading the development of query understanding systems, designing learning-to-rank models, building entity recognition pipelines, architecting scalable search infrastructure, creating graph-based knowledge systems, driving improvements in query rewriting and semantic search, owning evaluation frameworks for relevance testing, collaborating with product and research teams, and producing clean, scalable code that influences system architecture.
