- • Design, build, and evolve scalable dbt data models that accurately represent company KPIs and business metrics across Finance, Product, and Go-to-Market teams.
- • Develop and maintain intuitive Looker dashboards that enable stakeholders to make informed, data-driven decisions based on trusted analytics.
- • Partner with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable analytics solutions that support forecasting, execution, and operational decision-making.
- • Collaborate with Data Engineering to ensure high-quality, reliable data pipelines are in place for reporting and analysis across the organization.
- • Work alongside analytics engineers and analysts to establish and enforce dbt and Looker best practices, including quality assurance on data models and dashboards.
- • Analyze complex datasets to uncover actionable insights that improve business performance, forecasting accuracy, and operational efficiency.
- • Scope, prioritize, and execute analytics initiatives that deliver measurable value across Aurora Solar’s business functions.
- • Own the end-to-end analytics lifecycle, from data modeling and validation to quality assurance and delivery of trusted reporting.
- • Leverage AI tools to accelerate analysis, troubleshoot data issues, and enhance complex data modeling workflows.
- • Communicate technical concepts and analytical insights clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders to drive alignment and adoption.
- • Independently drive projects from concept through implementation, influencing stakeholders and ensuring successful delivery without direct authority.
- • Support the broader analytics foundation by contributing to the evolution of data standards, documentation, and governance practices.
- • Ensure data models and dashboards are optimized for performance, accuracy, and usability across all business units.
- • Maintain awareness of industry trends and emerging tools to continuously improve the analytics stack and enable data-driven culture.
🎯 Requirements
- • 4+ years of experience in analytics, analytics engineering, or a similar data-focused role using SQL to develop data models and generate business insights.
- • 2+ years of experience working with dbt and Looker in a production environment.
- • Strong experience designing, building, and optimizing scalable dbt models and Looker dashboards based on business and performance requirements.
- • Advanced SQL and analytical problem-solving skills, with the ability to independently solve complex data challenges.
- • Experience leveraging AI tools to accelerate analysis, troubleshoot data issues, and support complex data modeling workflows.
- • Experience owning the end-to-end analytics lifecycle, including data modeling, validation, quality assurance, and delivery of trusted reporting.
