- • You will play a foundational role in shaping how analytics evolves at ClassDojo by introducing AI-assisted workflows and enabling faster, more intuitive access to insights, directly contributing to the company’s vision of reimagining learning experiences beyond traditional classrooms.
- • Day to day, you will own and maintain core data models that power product and business insights, ensuring they are accurate, scalable, and aligned with stakeholder needs.
- • You will improve data quality, consistency, and trust across key datasets and metrics by implementing validation checks, monitoring data health, and establishing stewardship practices.

- • You will contribute to the evolution of analytics practices and standards across the company by defining best practices for modeling, naming conventions, documentation, and version control.
- • You will mentor and influence team members through technical leadership, promoting a culture of ownership, curiosity, and continuous improvement in how data is treated as a product.
🎯 Requirements
- • Strong experience in analytics engineering, data modeling, and SQL, with proven ability to design and maintain complex data pipelines in modern data stacks.
- • Deep commitment to data quality and accuracy, treating datasets as products that require ongoing stewardship, monitoring, and improvement.
- • Builder mindset with a proactive approach to identifying inefficiencies and improving systems, processes, and tooling to increase analytics velocity.
- • Excitement about applying AI to enhance analytics workflows, such as using LLMs for documentation, query generation, or insight summarization.
- • Ability to design scalable, maintainable data models and standards that support self-serve analytics across technical and non-technical audiences.
- • Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, translating business needs into technical solutions and vice versa.
🏖️ Benefits
- • Competitive salary range of $175,000–$235,000 USD for employees based in CA, WA, NY, NJ, or CT, and $150,000–$200,000 USD for all other U.S. states, reflecting geographic location, experience, and skillset.
- • Fully remote work arrangement with flexibility to work from anywhere, provided there is significant hours overlap with one of the Americas time zones to support collaboration.
- • Commitment to equal employment opportunity and accommodation for disabilities or special needs, including consideration of qualified applicants with arrest or conviction records under the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance.
- • Opportunity to work with a highly talented, entrepreneurial team from top-tier technology and education companies, including alumni from Instagram, Netflix, Dropbox, Stripe, Uber, and Y Combinator.
- • Chance to pioneer the future of education by contributing to a platform used in over 95% of U.S. schools and reaching over 45 million children across 180 countries.
