- • As a Staff Auditor at SBD, Inc., you will play a critical role in ensuring the integrity of financial and operational controls across a global organization that powers iconic brands like DEWALT, BLACK+DECKER, and STANLEY. Your work directly supports risk mitigation, process improvement, and compliance, helping safeguard the company’s assets and reputation while enabling sustainable growth.
- • Day to day, you will execute internal audit engagements from planning through reporting (70% of time), including conducting interviews, developing audit programs, performing walkthroughs and testing, analyzing data for anomalies, drafting findings, and collaborating with auditees to establish root causes and remediation plans. You will also assist with External Audit (EY) Direct Assist work (30% of time), including testing and inventory counts, and contribute to special projects while monitoring the implementation of audit recommendations.
- • You will join a high-performing Internal Audit team within Stanley Black & Decker, a global leader with over 43,500 employees across 60 countries and 20+ brands. The team operates with full support from senior management and the Audit Committee, fostering a collaborative, innovative, and purpose-driven environment where your contributions are valued and your growth is actively supported.

🎯 Requirements
- • BS/BA in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- • 1-2 years of work experience in operations, internal audit, or public accounting (preferred)
- • Basic knowledge of internal controls, auditing procedures, and accounting principles
- • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- • Effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
