- • Join Tebra's Revenue Cycle Management team as a Staff Backend Software Engineer and be at the forefront of modernizing our critical billing platform. This pivotal role is designed for an experienced engineer who thrives on architecting and implementing high-performance, scalable systems that can adapt to a rapidly growing business. You will be instrumental in driving the technical vision for our billing solutions, ensuring they are robust, reliable, and future-proof.
- • As a Staff Engineer, you will take the lead in designing and developing sophisticated architectural solutions. This involves crafting elegant code using Java and Spring Boot, building efficient RESTful APIs, and implementing microservices architectures that form the backbone of our platform. Your contributions will directly impact the performance, scalability, and maintainability of our core billing systems, ensuring they can handle increasing transaction volumes and evolving business logic.
- • A significant aspect of this role involves deep engagement with cloud technologies. You will leverage your expertise in platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud to design and implement cloud-native applications. This includes optimizing applications for scalability, reliability, and cost-efficiency, as well as establishing best practices for cloud integration, monitoring, and management. Your work will ensure our infrastructure is robust and capable of supporting our ambitious growth plans.
- • You will play a crucial role in elevating the quality of our codebase through rigorous code reviews. Providing constructive feedback and mentorship to junior and mid-level engineers is a key responsibility, fostering a culture of continuous learning, technical excellence, and shared ownership. By guiding your peers, you will help build a stronger, more capable engineering team.
- • Collaboration is central to this position. You will work closely with Product Managers and Designers to translate complex business requirements into well-defined technical solutions. Your input will be vital in shaping the technical direction of the team and the product roadmap, ensuring that our engineering efforts are aligned with strategic business objectives.
- • Performance optimization will be a continuous focus. You will be responsible for monitoring application performance, identifying bottlenecks across both backend (Java/Spring Boot) and frontend (React) layers, and implementing effective solutions to enhance speed and efficiency. This proactive approach ensures a seamless user experience for our customers.
- • Embrace Agile methodologies by actively participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog grooming. Contribute to defining and prioritizing work, ensuring the team operates efficiently and delivers value iteratively.
- • Stay ahead of the curve by continuously researching and applying emerging technologies and industry best practices. Your commitment to innovation will help Tebra maintain its competitive edge and continuously improve its development processes and product quality.
- • This role offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on Tebra's mission to unlock better healthcare by empowering independent practices. You will be a key player in building the digital backbone that supports practice well-being, directly contributing to the success of over 100,000 providers who trust Tebra to elevate their patient experience and grow their practices.
- • You will be expected to demonstrate the practical application of AI tools in your daily work, whether it's for research, debugging, coding, or deploying new solutions, reflecting Tebra's forward-thinking approach to technology adoption.
