  • • As a Staff Data Engineer at Artera, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and maintaining our data infrastructure. This is a strategic position where you will be instrumental in ensuring the robustness, efficiency, and scalability of our data pipelines. Your expertise will directly impact our ability to deliver high-quality, reliable data to a diverse range of stakeholders, including our clients and internal analytics teams.
  • • You will be empowered to make significant decisions regarding the selection of tools, the organization of our data architecture, and the implementation of best practices for data process orchestration and optimization.   • • A core responsibility will be to ensure the uninterrupted and seamless flow of data across our entire platform. This involves proactive monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimization of existing data pipelines, as well as the design and implementation of new, more efficient data solutions.
  • • You will be a key contributor to supporting the analytical needs of our clients and internal teams. This means understanding their data requirements and translating them into robust data models and accessible data sets.
  • • This role demands a proactive and investigative mindset. You will be expected to take the lead in identifying potential issues within our data infrastructure, researching and evaluating new technologies and methodologies, and implementing innovative solutions to enhance performance, reliability, and security.
  • • You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, software engineers, and product managers, to understand data requirements and deliver data solutions that drive business value.
  • • Responsibilities will include designing, building, and maintaining scalable and reliable ETL/ELT pipelines, ensuring data quality and integrity throughout the data lifecycle.
  • • You will be involved in data modeling, schema design, and database management to support analytical and operational needs.
  • • Performance tuning and optimization of data warehouses, data lakes, and data processing jobs will be a critical aspect of your work.
  • • Developing and implementing data governance policies and procedures to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and compliance.
  • • Creating and maintaining comprehensive documentation for data pipelines, processes, and architecture.
  • • Mentoring junior data engineers and sharing best practices within the data team.
  • • Staying abreast of the latest trends and advancements in data engineering, cloud technologies, and AI/ML to continuously improve our data infrastructure.
