  • • Own end-to-end development and maintenance of reliable data pipelines that ingest, transform, and deliver healthcare data across the organization to support analytics and evidence generation.
  • • Design scalable data warehouse models and schemas that enable accurate reporting, clinical analytics, and reimbursement evidence generation.
  • • Lead data transformation strategy by establishing standardized frameworks and best practices for consistency, maintainability, and performance across all data assets.
  • • Implement data quality controls including validation rules, reconciliation processes, monitoring systems, and alerting mechanisms to ensure trust in critical datasets.
  • • Integrate new clinical and claims data sources into the central data warehouse ecosystem, ensuring compatibility and structural integrity.
  • • Optimize data warehouse performance by improving query efficiency, reducing storage costs, and enhancing processing speed as data volumes scale.
  • • Partner with software engineers, analytics teams, and business stakeholders to translate complex business questions into durable, actionable data solutions.
  • • Develop tooling and operational processes that automate manual tasks, increase system reliability, and reduce technical debt.
  • • Mentor junior data engineers and analysts by sharing technical expertise, promoting data engineering standards, and elevating team-wide technical capabilities.
  • • Ensure all data infrastructure supports compliance with healthcare data handling requirements and enables reproducible, auditable analytical workflows.
  • • Contribute to the strategic evolution of Pivotal Health’s clinical data platform by influencing architecture decisions that align with long-term business goals.
  • • Maintain documentation for data models, pipeline logic, and operational procedures to ensure knowledge transfer and system sustainability.
  • • Collaborate across teams to define data requirements for machine learning and LLM-enabled workflows, ensuring data readiness and quality.
  • • Drive operational excellence by identifying bottlenecks in data workflows and implementing scalable solutions that reduce dependency on manual intervention.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 8+ years of experience building production data pipelines and warehouse solutions
  • • Deep expertise in SQL and modern data transformation frameworks and Python
  • • Experience working with large-scale analytical databases and cloud data platforms
  • • Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL/ELT design, and data lifecycle management
  • • Experience supporting business-critical reporting or analytical workloads
  • • Proven ability to improve data reliability and operational maturity
