- • As a Staff Developer on the Growth Team at 1Password, you will serve as the technical DRI for new growth capabilities, owning architectural decisions and ensuring cohesive execution across teams to build net-new self-serve experiences and evolve systems powering Product Growth.
- • You will drive rapid experimentation and feedback loops across expanding B2B product suites, playing a foundational role in shaping how Product Growth operates across 1Password’s enterprise offerings by identifying and driving platform-level improvements that enable consistent experimentation capabilities.
- • Day to day, you will design scalable instrumentation strategies, ensure high data integrity across complex product surfaces, and lead cross-team technical initiatives spanning frontend, backend, and data systems while maintaining hands-on involvement in implementation work where architectural depth is required.
- • You will partner with product, design, and data leaders to ensure experiments are technically sound and strategically aligned, establish guardrails and best practices to ensure experimentation velocity does not compromise performance, reliability, security, or data integrity, and mentor engineers to level up experimentation fluency across the organization.
- • You will influence roadmap decisions by grounding strategy in technical constraints and opportunity analysis, and contribute to 1Password’s mission of building a safe, productive digital future by ensuring every identity is authentic, every application sign-in is secure, and every device is trusted.
- • You will join a remote-first team within the United States or Canada that values collaboration, clear communication, receptiveness to feedback, and core principles of keeping it simple, leading with honesty, and putting people first, while working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment that demands excellence and adaptability.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in experimentation platforms, scalable SaaS architecture, and cross-functional technical leadership, positioning yourself as a key influencer in 1Password’s growth engine and cybersecurity innovation.
🎯 Requirements
- • 8+ years of professional software development experience in a production SaaS environment.
- • Hands-on experience building and evolving experimentation platforms (feature flagging systems, A/B frameworks, event pipelines, analytics integrations).
- • Proficiency in Go.
- • Proven ability to design scalable instrumentation strategies and ensure high data integrity across complex product surfaces.
- • Experience leading cross-team technical initiatives that span frontend, backend, and data systems.
- • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to align engineering, product, and data stakeholders around complex technical decisions.
