Your work will directly impact how users experience productivity, enabling seamless, scalable, and intuitive task management at enterprise scale.
- • You will be a hands-on technical leader who drives frontend excellence by building and evolving high-performance systems in Angular 20+, influencing architectural decisions, mentoring peers, and ensuring the team ships reliable, maintainable, and user-centric features that align with ClickUp’s mission to unify work through AI-powered convergence.
- • The Tasks team owns one of the most critical and widely used components of ClickUp’s platform, operating at the intersection of product innovation, frontend architecture, performance optimization, and cross-functional collaboration. You’ll join a bold, fast-moving engineering culture that values technical craftsmanship, ownership, and continuous improvement in a high-growth, remote-first environment.

- • You will solve challenging technical problems related to bundle size, rendering efficiency, memory leaks, cross-browser inconsistencies, accessibility compliance, and scalable event handling—ensuring the Tasks experience remains fast and reliable even under heavy usage.
- • You will continuously improve developer tooling, CI/CD pipelines, linting standards, and team workflows to reduce friction and enable engineers to ship high-quality code with confidence and speed.
🎯 Requirements
- • 7+ years of professional experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and modern frontend frameworks, with deep expertise in Angular 20+ or React in large-scale, production applications.
- • Proven experience implementing complex state management patterns using NgRx, Redux, or similar libraries, along with strong proficiency in reactive programming via RxJS.
- • Demonstrated ability to lead significant technical initiatives, influence architectural decisions, and mentor engineers while maintaining high standards for code quality, testability, and performance.
🏖️ Benefits
- • Remote-first work environment with flexibility to work from anywhere in the United States, supported by a collaborative virtual culture and regular team connection opportunities.
- • Opportunity to work on a mission-critical product used by millions of teams worldwide, with direct impact on how modern work is organized and executed.
