📋 Description

• • Own the end-to-end architecture and delivery of Mesh’s consumer-facing web platform and internal orchestration dashboard, ensuring every pixel and API endpoint contributes to a frictionless crypto payment experience.
• • Lead the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and highly-available full-stack systems that handle real-time asset swaps, on-chain settlement, and fiat off-ramps for millions of users worldwide.
• • Collaborate with product, design, and compliance teams to translate complex Web3 primitives—wallets, smart-contract interactions, multi-chain liquidity routing—into intuitive, trustworthy user journeys that feel as simple as using Apple Pay.
• • Establish and evangelize engineering best practices across code reviews, automated testing (unit, integration, E2E), CI/CD pipelines, and observability, raising the technical bar for a globally distributed team.
• • Architect responsive, accessible, and performant React/Next.js front-end experiences that render in <100 ms, while simultaneously optimizing Node.js/TypeScript back-end services to process thousands of concurrent transactions with five-nines reliability.
• • Integrate deeply with blockchain nodes, indexers, and custody providers across Ethereum, Solana, Polygon, and emerging L2s; write and audit smart-contract interfaces to guarantee atomic, auditable payments.
• • Build real-time risk engines that evaluate wallet reputation, transaction velocity, and compliance flags in milliseconds, enabling instant approvals for legitimate users and frictionless fraud prevention.
• • Mentor senior and mid-level engineers through pair programming, architecture reviews, and career development plans, cultivating a culture of psychological safety and continuous learning.
• • Partner with PayPal Ventures, Paradigm, and Galaxy Ventures portfolio companies to pilot new payment rails, gathering telemetry and iterating rapidly on features that unlock trillions in dormant tokenized value.
• • Instrument every layer of the stack with OpenTelemetry, Grafana, and custom alerts so anomalies in liquidity, latency, or user behavior are surfaced and resolved before customers notice.
• • Champion security-first development: lead threat-modeling sessions, coordinate third-party audits, and maintain SOC-2 and ISO-27001 compliance across infrastructure and application code.
• • Contribute to Mesh’s open-source SDKs and developer documentation, empowering external merchants and fintechs to embed “Pay with any asset” natively into their own products.
• • Participate in on-call rotations with a blameless post-mortem culture, turning incidents into resilient system improvements and actionable runbooks.
• • Drive quarterly OKRs that balance ambitious growth targets with engineering excellence, translating company-level goals into sprint-level deliverables and measurable KPIs.
• • Shape the technical roadmap for 2025-2026, including cross-chain intent engines, zero-knowledge proof-based privacy features, and AI-driven liquidity forecasting.
