📋 Description

• • As a Staff Mobile Engineer at Tide Platform Limited, you will play a pivotal role in designing, building, and maintaining the mobile applications that power Tide’s business banking platform for SMEs across the UK, India, Germany, and France. Your work will directly impact over 1.6 million users by enabling seamless, secure, and innovative financial tools that help small businesses save time and money.
• • Day to day, you will lead technical initiatives within autonomous, cross-functional teams, defining architectural visions and implementation strategies for mobile features in areas such as Payments and Business Services. You will collaborate with product owners, designers, and backend engineers to translate requirements into high-quality, scalable solutions while advocating for best practices in code quality, testing, and performance.
• • You will be based in Sofia, Bulgaria, working within Tide’s technology centre, which serves as a key hub for innovation and engineering excellence. The company fosters a culture of autonomy, continuous learning, and psychological safety, where engineers are empowered to make decisions that affect multiple teams and shape the future of Tide’s One Platform.
• • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in Flutter and Dart, contribute to a large-scale codebase exceeding 2 million lines of code, and grow as a technical leader through mentorship, knowledge sharing in the Flutter Community of Practice, and progression via Tide’s structured Growth Framework. You will gain experience in modern mobile engineering practices including CI/CD, state management, code generation, and BDD testing, all while working on products that deliver real-world impact.
