📋 Description

• Serve as a Staff or Principal Software Engineer contributing to Jump’s AI-powered platform designed to enhance financial advisors’ client workflows and decision-making.
• Develop and maintain scalable, secure, and compliant software systems using Elixir, LiveView, PostgreSQL, GitHub, Kubernetes, and Terraform on Google Cloud.
• Collaborate with a small, high-performing engineering team to ship clean, well-tested, and well-architected code with rapid iteration cycles.
• Adapt quickly to shifting priorities and emerging challenges with curiosity, sound judgment, and a growth mindset.
• Participate in a structured 4-step hiring process including a screening call, coding challenge, CTO interview, and one-week trial project.
• Work remotely from anywhere outside the United States with full flexibility in scheduling, while aiming for at least three overlapping hours with HQ in Salt Lake City, Utah.
• Contribute to a culture that prioritizes collaboration over blame, where setbacks are treated as opportunities for collective problem-solving.
• Communicate clearly and respectfully, actively listening to feedback and offering thoughtful input to support team growth and alignment.
• Engage with a product focused on enterprise-grade AI tools for financial advisors, serving major clients including LPL, Raymond James, Cetera, Focus Financial, and Savant.
• Operate within a revenue-backed, low-churn company that has raised an $80M Series B and is rapidly expanding its product suite across financial services verticals.

• Receive subscriptions to essential tools such as Cursor.ai and ChatGPT, provided by the company to enhance productivity and innovation.

• Operate as a global contractor with hourly compensation ranging from $30–$70/hour based on experience.
• Work in a fully remote, non-US-based capacity with no expectation of working outside personal hours or at the expense of family time.

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum 6 years of professional software engineering experience
• Ability to work remotely from outside the United States
• Proficiency or willingness to learn Elixir, LiveView, PostgreSQL, Kubernetes, and Terraform on Google Cloud
