- • As a Staff Product Manager at Spare Labs Inc., you will own a cross-cutting product domain, driving company-level opportunities by creating new revenue streams, scaling existing ones, and accelerating growth through strategic product leadership and cross-functional collaboration.
- • You will define and communicate a long-term product vision and multi-year strategy aligned with company priorities, while owning the full lifecycle of your product domain across multiple engineering squads and teams.
- • Day to day, you will collaborate closely with engineering, design, marketing, sales, and partner success teams to align product development with business objectives, ensuring seamless execution and stakeholder alignment.
- • You will analyze data, conduct customer research, and engage with customer-facing teams and integration partners to identify market trends, customer needs, and opportunities that shape Spare’s broader product direction.
- • You will work collaboratively with your teams to generate innovative product solutions, applying systems thinking to address complex customer feedback and unmet needs, and evangelize your product domain internally and externally.
- • You will be responsible for domain-level product roadmaps, resource allocation, release schedules, and stakeholder alignment — bridging internal and external stakeholders, including senior leadership, to define requirements and drive decisions.
- • You will mentor and up-level other Product Managers by sharing frameworks, feedback, and best practices, raising the bar for product management excellence at Spare.
- • You will operate in a hybrid work environment, required to be in the downtown Vancouver office on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, with remote flexibility on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and travel to the United States up to 25% of the time (approximately once a month).
- • You will join a fast-paced, customer-focused Product Management team solving complex logistical challenges with technology, improving ride reliability, reducing costs, and enhancing customer experience in transit and mobility.
- • You will contribute to Spare’s mission of empowering everyone to unlock the potential of mobility by enabling worry-free, efficient, flexible, and automated on-demand solutions for transportation providers worldwide.
🎯 Requirements
- • 5-8+ years of experience managing technical software products from inception to launch and iteration, with proven success at a senior/principal/staff scope on complex, cross-team initiatives.
- • Demonstrated experience working closely with enterprise customers and senior stakeholders, building relationships with key clients, and driving customer-centric product decisions that deliver meaningful business outcomes.
- • Proven ability to ship products with exceptional user experiences at scale, including taking new products from concept to market and evolving complex, existing products.
- • Strong technical background in software engineering (SWE) to enable effective collaboration with engineering teams and understanding of technical tradeoffs.
- • Ability to build strong relationships and influence internal stakeholders across growth, engineering, marketing & design, and operations, often without formal authority.
- • Demonstrated capacity for innovative thinking, including entrepreneurial experience, with a track record of turning ambiguous problem spaces into clear strategies.
