Staff Product Manager (AI Agents)

📋 Description

• • Architect and steward the product strategy for Traba’s AI agent platform, designing systems that autonomously reason through workflows, orchestrate tools, maintain context, and execute work on behalf of users in industrial supply chain operations.
• • Solve complex customer problems by balancing user needs, evolving AI capabilities, and technical constraints in real-time, using firsthand operational insights from manufacturing and logistics facilities.
• • Write detailed product requirements and partner closely with product engineers, ML teams, and early design partners to define, prototype, and ship production-grade AI agents that perform meaningful actions without human intervention.
• • Rapidly validate and iterate on agent concepts through direct embedding with customers, observing and co-designing workflows within their daily operations to ensure real-world applicability and adoption.
• • Define product behavior, evaluation systems, and quality frameworks that measure and improve agent reliability, accuracy, and performance across dynamic, real-world supply chain environments.
• • Use proprietary data from millions of shifts and enterprise workflows to uncover patterns, answer key product questions, and inform agent decision-making logic and system design.
• • Evolve Traba’s AI product portfolio by continuously adapting to changes in model capabilities, tooling, and system architecture, navigating prompt rewrites, capability cliffs, and reliability tradeoffs as they arise.
• • Visualize and communicate complex system behaviors, evaluation results, and business impact to stakeholders across engineering, operations, leadership, and customer teams.
• • Socialize product vision and progress across departments, synthesizing feedback from diverse stakeholders including ML engineers, operations staff, and customer partners to shape product direction.
• • Operate as a 0-to-1 product builder in a fast-paced startup environment, creating structures where no playbook exists, killing underperforming ideas, and iteratively pursuing signals of product-market fit.
• • Maintain deep technical fluency to engage as a peer with engineering and ML teams, understanding evaluations, prototyping ideas, and participating in technical conversations around system tradeoffs and model limitations.
• • Build customer-embedded products by working shoulder-to-shoulder with users, understanding their workflows firsthand, and shipping solutions based on direct feedback loops rather than assumptions.
• • Drive a builder mentality: be inventive and scrappy, move quickly amid ambiguity, and deliver meaningful outcomes without relying on large teams or excessive process.
• • Collaborate seamlessly across engineering, ML, design, operations, and leadership to bring new AI agent products from concept to production in a high-velocity environment.
• • Stay deeply familiar with modern AI tools and systems, applying hands-on experience to prototype, test, and refine agent functionalities in real production contexts.
• • Work onsite in New York City five days per week to enable real-time collaboration, rapid decision-making, and strong teamwork within a high-performing, energy-driven team.
