- • As a Staff Product Manager, AI Growth at Airwallex, you will be at the forefront of innovation, defining and driving the strategy, roadmap, and execution for our next-generation AI-powered products. This is a pivotal role where you will operate at the dynamic intersection of fintech, artificial intelligence, and global financial operations. Your mission will be to build intelligent automation and create exceptional customer experiences that are designed to scale seamlessly across diverse regions and languages, fundamentally shaping the future of global payments, treasury, cards, and B2B financial operations.
- • You will own the entire product lifecycle for AI-powered features and platforms. This encompasses everything from the initial spark of ideation, through meticulous development and rigorous testing, to a successful launch and continuous, data-driven optimization. Your responsibility extends to ensuring these products not only meet but exceed business objectives and customer expectations.
- • A core aspect of your role will be to define and champion the product vision and roadmap. This involves a delicate balance between pursuing long-term, transformative innovation and addressing immediate, critical business needs. You will be the voice of the product, ensuring alignment across all stakeholders and driving towards a unified goal.
- • Collaboration is key. You will partner closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, data science, design, compliance, and commercial departments. Together, you will deliver AI solutions that are not only scalable and secure but also remarkably intuitive and user-friendly, ensuring they integrate seamlessly into our existing ecosystem.
- • You will be a driving force behind our Product-Led Growth (PLG) initiatives. This includes conceptualizing and implementing in-product nudges, sophisticated reward systems, intelligent cross-sell mechanisms, and automated customer lifecycle management. The goal is to significantly enhance customer adoption, boost retention rates, and drive substantial revenue generation through intelligent product design.
- • This role demands hands-on involvement in building and shipping AI/ML-powered products. You will be developing innovative solutions such as AI copilots, autonomous agents, advanced chatbots, and personalized recommendation systems, rather than simply integrating pre-existing models into current workflows. Your focus will be on creating novel AI capabilities.
- • You will leverage cutting-edge AI-driven technologies and deep data-driven insights to foster innovation. Your efforts will be directed towards continuously improving the user experience and systematically reducing operational friction across the platform, making financial operations smoother and more efficient for our global clientele.
- • A significant area of focus will be leading the development of customer service and support automation. This includes designing and implementing intelligent bots, intuitive self-serve flows, and effective deflection journeys. The aim is to provide intelligent automation solutions that streamline interactions across payments, onboarding, and ongoing customer support, enhancing efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- • Ensuring compliance, transparency, and the adoption of responsible AI practices will be paramount. These principles must be deeply embedded in all products, particularly within highly regulated domains such as payments, treasury, and cards, where trust and security are non-negotiable.
- • You will be responsible for launching products across multiple regions and languages. This requires navigating a fast-paced, global environment, working collaboratively with local teams to ensure products are not only compliant with regional regulations but also perfectly tailored to local market needs and cultural nuances.

🎯 Requirements
- • 7+ years of product management experience, with a proven track record of owning core product areas end-to-end for complex, multi-surface products. This includes experience launching 0→1 or early-stage products in high-ambiguity environments, demonstrating a clear builder mindset.
- • Hands-on experience building and shipping AI/LLM-powered products. You possess deep technical fluency in how modern Machine Learning systems are trained, evaluated, deployed, and monitored.
- • A data-driven, growth-oriented problem solver with strong analytical rigor. You are proficient in using dashboards, SQL, or product analytics tools, and have a demonstrated track record of running experiments (e.g., A/B tests) to improve activation, adoption, or retention.
- • Possess a builder mindset, exceptional stakeholder management skills, and the ability to align engineering, data, design, operations, customer success, and go-to-market partners around product strategy, roadmap, and execution.
- • Experience in fintech, payments, treasury, cards, or B2B financial operations, including navigating compliance, risk, and role-based access constraints.
- • Prior experience working on growth, lifecycle, or Product-Led Growth (PLG) products, such as in-product nudges, rewards, cross-sell systems, or lifecycle automation.
