- • Own and drive the 0 to 1 strategy for Harvey’s legal operations platform, defining how in-house legal teams configure, govern, and evaluate relationships with outside firms and vendors using AI-native tooling.
- • Define the end-to-end product roadmap for the legal operations platform, aligning features with Harvey’s enterprise growth strategy and ensuring alignment with procurement-led and compliance-driven buyer needs.
- • Lead execution of product features from discovery through launch, partnering closely with engineering to ship on a fast cadence while maintaining a high-quality bar for enterprise-grade functionality.
- • Collaborate directly with enterprise customers and customer success teams to deeply understand current workflows for managing outside counsel and vendors, translating insights into actionable product requirements that drive adoption at scale.
- • Partner with go-to-market, partnerships, and legal engineering teams to ensure the platform is effectively positioned, enabled, and deployed for sales and customer onboarding.
- • Establish and track success metrics that quantify the platform’s impact on legal department efficiency, compliance, and vendor performance, using data to continuously prioritize iterations and improvements.
- • Build and scale a platform that handles sensitive legal data with robust security, access control, and compliance controls, ensuring adherence to enterprise standards for data governance.
- • Work at the intersection of platform, product, and partnerships to create extensible capabilities including APIs, integrations, and data partnerships that make Harvey the system of intelligence for professional legal work.
- • Translate high-level strategic vision into detailed product specifications, balancing both macro-level roadmap priorities and micro-level implementation details with precision and clarity.
- • Drive cross-functional alignment across engineering, design, customer success, and legal teams to ensure cohesive delivery of a transformative admin experience for General Counsel and legal operations leaders.
- • Maintain a relentless focus on simplicity and decisiveness, prioritizing clear judgment over perfect information and ensuring product decisions reflect Harvey’s core values: Decisiveness, Simplicity, and Job’s Not Finished.
- • Act as the primary product owner for one of Harvey’s highest-impact and fastest-growing product surfaces, directly enabling enterprise expansion and market leadership in AI-native legal operations.
🎯 Requirements
- • 7+ years of product management experience, with at least 3 years at a Staff or Senior PM level at a high-growth technology company
- • Proven track record of owning and scaling complex platform or infrastructure products, ideally in enterprise SaaS, document management, knowledge management, or data-intensive domains
- • Strong technical acumen with the ability to engage deeply with engineering on system design, distributed systems, data pipelines, and retrieval architectures
- • Experience building products that handle sensitive data with robust security, compliance, and access control requirements
- • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at various levels, from engineers to executives
- • Demonstrated ability to thrive in ambiguous, fast-paced environments and drive clarity through complexity
